Find errors hiding in your sitemap.xml

Checks every loc is an absolute http(s) URL appearing once, lastmod is a valid date, and priority sits between 0 and 1 — for sitemaps and sitemap indexes alike.

Validated locally, no signup

Pasted and uploaded sitemaps never leave your browser; only URL mode fetches remotely.

Frequently asked questions

What does it check?

Every loc must be an absolute http(s) URL and appear only once, lastmod must be a valid YYYY-MM-DD or ISO-8601 datetime, and priority must be a number between 0 and 1. Sitemap indexes get the same loc checks on their child entries.

What is the difference between an error and a warning?

Errors (like a relative or malformed loc) can make search engines skip the entry entirely. Warnings (like a duplicate URL or an out-of-range priority) are tolerated but usually worth fixing.

Is my sitemap data private?

Yes — validation runs entirely in your browser. Pasted and uploaded content never leaves your machine; only URL mode sends the address to our fetch proxy.
