Merge, split, compress, convert, sign, OCR, and every other free tool processes files locally on your device with WebAssembly and JavaScript. Files never leave your browser, are never stored on our servers, and cannot be seen by us. Closing the tab removes them from memory.
If you create a helpGPT workspace, we store your account email, the documents you add to your agent's knowledge base, and conversation logs needed to run the service and bill your plan. Widget chats on customer sites are processed to generate answers and are retained per your workspace settings.
We use privacy-respecting, cookie-light analytics (Vercel Analytics) to measure page performance. Authentication uses a session cookie to keep you signed in. Tool ratings are stored only in your own browser's local storage.
